Declared mine licensees are responsible for preparing Declared Mine Rehabilitation Plans (DMRPs).

All declared mine licensees are required to submit their Declared Mine Rehabilitation Plans (DMRPs) for submission to Regulatory Operations – Resources Victoria by October 2025, unless they have received an extension.

Currently, there are three declared mines in Victoria; HazelwoodLoy Yang and Yallourn
