Important announcement from Dr Jen Brereton, CEO of the Mine Land Rehabilitation Authority

Today, the Victorian Government released the Independent Review into the Victorian Public Sector (also known as the Silver Review.) This has impacted the Mine Land Rehabilitation Authority and our remit will be incorporated into Resources Victoria.

We are very proud of the work we have completed over the past five and a half years, and the relationships and trust we have built with Traditional Owners, stakeholders and community.

We recognise the significance of this review and the impact on the people and communities we serve. Our focus is on engaging constructively in the process, supporting our employees and ensuring stakeholders are informed throughout this transition period. We are working closely with Resources Victoria to understand timelines, implications and next steps. As details are confirmed, they will be communicated directly to staff and stakeholders. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
