Education
With the Hazelwood power station closing in 2017, Yallourn expected to close in 2032, and Loy Yang in 2048, what will happen to the three brown coal mines?
Learn about mine rehabilitation with our free education program available to primary and secondary schools in the Latrobe Valley.
Featuring interactive discussions with hands-on demonstrations, role-play, and group activities, explore the Latrobe Valley landscape, towns and mines using a 3D timber model and learn more about the concept of mine rehabilitation from a local perspective.
Our lesson plans have been developed to meet the Victorian Curriculum and our team members have current Working With Children checks.
