David Salmon, CEO, provided an overview of the MLRA’s primary activities and achievements since its inception in June 2020 and will provide a brief outline of its future development.

Part II: The timeline for mine land rehabilitation.

Rhonda Hastie, Technical Advisor, outlined the likely timing and key phases of mine rehabilitation for the Latrobe Valley’s three brown coal mines and the factors that may affect their delivery timeframes. Mine rehabilitation is an inter-generational process that can take longer than a mine’s extraction phase.
